#44. Try 25 New Restaurants in Portland, OR

At the end of January, my good friend Lindsey, was in town visiting for the weekend.  We went to high school together, but she moved away right after we graduated.  She lives in Utah now, so we don't see each other as often as I would like.  When I heard she was coming to town for a family wedding, I jumped at the chance to go to dinner with her.  I got in touch with a few more of our mutual friends and we planned to go to happy hour at Oswego Grill on a Friday night.

The happy hour part didn't work out to well... we got to the restaurant, and there was a line to get into the bar.  With 8 people in our group, that wasn't going to work so well, so we decided to go to the restaurant instead.   It worked out perfectly!  We got a great table and we were all able to sit and chat with each other easily.  Over the course of a few hours, we caught up with each other over dinner and drinks.  It was a really fun time.

As a restaurant, Oswego Grill is pretty awesome.  It's great food, good sized portions and very reasonable prices.  I had the chicken tenderloins appetizer for my dinner, and it was very good.  I know I would definitely eat there again!  And I probably wouldn't try to take 8 people to happy hour on a Friday night again!
