#23. Play Craps at a table in Vegas
The very first time I went to Vegas was with my sorority sisters in college. We stayed at the MGM and had the best time! I had never really gambled before, but was introduced to Craps for the first time, and LOVED it. It was such a fun game, and I remember doing quite well when we played it.
I've wanted to play Craps again every time we go to Vegas, but I couldn't remember how, and was always too intimidated to step up to the table and play again... so I always said no. Well, adding this to my list was the perfect way to motivate me to just do it, and forget about being nervous or intimidated.
It was our last night in Vegas on our most recent trip in September... and I still had not played Craps. It was a Tuesday night, which is not exactly a crazy night on the strip, so there wasn't a lot going on. We had stopped at the Mirage on our way back from seeing Mystere at Treasure Island, and there were two Craps tables open, so finally I got my chance to play Craps again. Just as I had remembered, it was super fun, and I even had a good run at being the "shooter." I made some money for people at the table, so they seemed to like me... However, as it was getting to be 2:30 in the morning, everyone wandered off, and I was the last one there. So, we called it a night ourselves, and headed back to our hotel, the Bellagio.
I'm glad I finally played again, now I have one more thing to look forward to, the next time we go to Vegas. I know Dan would rather that I really get in to Poker, he says Craps is a gamble, "you may as well just sit in the corner and flip a coin." But I can't keep a Poker face, I get too excited when I'm doing well, which is why I love Craps!
