#93. Watch the entire series of LOST on DVD

On january 1, Dan and I started the new year by starting a new tv show...

I never watched a single episode while this show was on the air, but always wished I'd gotten on the band wagon.  I did try watching one of those "catch up" episodes they do every once in a while to bring people up to speed with the current season.  That confused me more than it helped and therefore, I never got into it.

It took some major convincing to get Dan to watch this with me... he had absolutely no interest.  But he came down with a major illness over the New Year's weekend, what I think was a delusional fever, and agreed to watch the show.  He'd never admit this publicly, but it's my blog, therefore I will publicly out him.... he is SO into this show now.  He suggests watching it before I do.  His commentary is awesome too.

Here are are some thoughts and husband & wife highlights after Season 1...

- This show is so bizarre and yet so awesome
- Ethan is quite possibly the freakiest character on tv ever
- I would most want to be friends with hurley in real life, and I felt this way before I knew he was a millionaire
- LOST is to me as heroin is to Charlie.  can't get enough.
- Watching this show is inspiring me to get moving on #31 (Take a Self-Defense Class) and #49 (Learn to fire a gun).  Those two would really be helpful in case I am ever in a plane crash on a not-so-deserted island.  Just sayin.

About halfway through season one...
Me:  So which character's back story do you think is in the next episode?
Dan:  Who do I look like, JJ Abrams?
