Since I began blogging myself, I've gotten into reading other blogs on a regular basis and Young House Love is one that Kelsey introduced me to, which I read ALL the time because John and Sherry are hilarious, and helpful and fun! And Burger and Clara are pretty cute too.
So you can imagine how excited I was when I heard that John and Sherry were going to be special guests at the Portland Home & Garden show with a Meet & Greet and everything! It was so cool to meet some real life blog world celebrities, especially since they are soon to be published authors.
After the Meet & Greet, we were starved and decided to grab some dinner. We went to BJ Willy's in Jantzen Beach, where I'd never been before. Not only did it give me a chance to try a new place, but it was a great time to catch up with Kelsey. We'd both had rough days and a mid-week Girls' Night was just what we needed.
OH MY GOD YOU MET SHERRY AND JOHN! Were they awesome?! I am so jealous!!!
ReplyDeleteAmy, they were SO awesome! They were EXACTLY how they appear on their blog. Very down to earth and fun. We only had a few minutes with them, but they were so attentive and appreciative of their fans. It was such a cool experience.
