updates (and anecdotes) on #54, #57, #76, and #81

#54... As of today, I have made the bed 8 days in a row!  I have to say that this is a HUGE accomplishment (sad, isn't it?) and I'm well on my way to making it 31 days in a row.   I didn't really think I would start this one off so soon, but I immediately made the bed last Monday, and then again on Tuesday, so by Wednesday, I was thinking, Day #3, here we go, this is really easy!

Dan noticed my pattern and said to me one morning, "Are you working on your bed-making merit badge now, is that what this is all about?"

#57... I know most of you are thinking I'm crazy, putting "Update my iPod" on my list of goals...  but seriously, this is something I NEVER sit down to do.  I think the last time I updated my iPod with new music was last June?  Terrible, huh?  Well, last night, I finally added some new music, and synced my iPod... it was pretty fun listening to some new tunes on the way in to work this morning.  Favorite song right now?  "The Warrior" by Patti Smyth/Scandal.

#76...  I love my house, but I HATE our office/craft room. It's a total disaster.   It's the room where we just dumped things...  paperwork, files, wedding planning stuff, all my craft stuff, miscellaneous junk...  I am finally so disgusted with the state of this room, that I started organizing it this weekend... it's going to be a very, very, big task.

I invested in these organizing cubes from Michaels... got a steal of a deal, thanks to a couple of 40% coupons.  This weekend, I started putting them together... they're pretty simple, but you need a screwdriver to assemble them.  So I went to the garage and found Dan's little screwdriver kit.  When I walked back in the house,  Dan saw the screwdriver kit in my hand and said, "Um, where did you get that?"  And I smiled, and said, "From our toolchest."   He came over to see what I was doing and said, "I don't think so... we don't refer to it as 'our ribbon' and 'our decorative pens'... that is MY toolchest."   Haha, he makes me laugh. :)

#81...  I think we're absolutely insane, but we are taking on the task of installing our own sprinkler system...  Dan's mapped everything out, we've paced the yard more than once, planning what goes where, and how this thing is really gonna work... hopefully the real fun, and hard labor, will start sometime this week... maybe next weekend.
